"MESHELLE" www.meshelle.net was born in Baltimore, where she completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Psychology from Bowie State University, one of the country's oldest Historically Black Colleges and Universities. MESHELLE is currently on extended leave-of-absence as a doctoral level student of Temple University's Department of School Psychology, College of Education.
MESHELLE's, televised national appearances include 4 seasons of BET's (Black Entertainment Television) COMIC VIEW, ABC's Philly After Midnight, ABC/NBC syndicated special "Walk A Mile In My Shoes: a 90 Year look at the NAACP", as well as commercials and print adds. As warm-up comedienne on the Sally Jesse Raphael Show and The NAACP Image Awards, MESHELLE received standing ovations.
MESHELLE was featured on the acclaimed "Pantene Total You Tour" sponsored by Proctor and Gamble with Author/Activist Sister Souljah, Fitness Guru Donna Richardson, Nutritionist and columnist DR. RO and Recording Artist/Actress Queen Latifah. She was also featured on the women's empowerment tour, the African American Women On Tour, featuring acclaimed Director/Choreographer Debbie Allen, Best- Selling Author Debrena Jackson Gandy, Author/Comedienne Dr. Bertice Berry, and Editor-and-Chief of Ms. magazine Marcia Ann Gilespie. MESHELLE was also the lead actress in the critically acclaimed theatrical drama "Woman Thou Art Loosed (1998 Tour)", based on the Best-Selling Novel written by Bishop TD Jakes and Grammy -Award winner Terry McFadden.
